Our Expertise

PACKAGING SPECIALIST

Many business owners are surprised to learn that waste materials are not treated equally around the world.

Each country has different laws, recommendations, recycling facilities, and capabilities for treating different waste materials. There are even regional differences between Australia and New Zealand, and within European countries. This makes it even more complicated to select the best packaging type for your needs.

As a packaging engineer, the AWEN team is a trusted consultant to businesses in Europe, the UK, Australia, and South America. We have working, scientific knowledge of which materials can be recycled or reused in these countries. We also have strong relationships with a wide range of sustainable packaging designers and suppliers.

ENABLING A CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The current linear economic system of ‘take-make-waste’ is no longer viable for businesses, people or nature. With our extensive understanding of packaging materials, resources and design, AWEN believes that waste and pollution are design flaws. We draw on our extensive experience and knowledge to help business owners use innovative packaging materials, thoughtful design and new technologies to create products that can remain in use or be reinvented.
